В статье представлена общая картина о доступной технологии возделывания кукурузы в Замбии. Кукуруза в стране используется в качестве источника основного продукта питания и составляет около 26% в сельскохозяйственном производстве. Исходя из того, что кукуруза играет важную роль в стабилизации экономики страны, следует рассматривать эффективность выращивания кукурузы доступными технологиями, а также искать возможности внедрения современных агротехнических приёмов, чтобы повышать ее экономическую эффективность. Эта статья отражает состояние сельскохозяйственного производства в Замбии. В ней изложена технология возделывания кукурузы в стране.
This article presents a General picture about the available technology of maize cultivation in Zambia. Corn in the country is used as the main source of food and the share of agricultural products in GDP (in particular maize) is about 26%. Based on the fact that the maize plays an important role in stabilizing the economy of the country, the country should consider the efficiency of growing corn available technology and should look for an opportunity to introduce modern farming techniques to improve the economic efficiency of maize cultivation. This article was written after careful study of the condition of agricultural production particularly maize production in Zambia. It outlines the system of fertilizers and its drawbacks, and recommendations to eliminate the impeding factors in the integration of maize production in the country.
