КРАТКИЙ АНАЛИЗ СТАНОВЛЕНИЯ СЕКРЕТАРИАТА ГАТТ

Статья посвящена истории становления Секретариата Генерального соглашения по тарифам и торговле (ГАТТ) с момента образования Внутренней комиссии Международной торговой организации до создания в 1994 г. Секретариата Всемирной торговой организации. Секретариат ГАТТ на протяжении пяти десятилетий являлся одним из главных органов ГАТТ и способствовал становлению современной международной торговой системы. Автором исследуются вопросы развития внутренней структуры Секретариата и его функций.

Brief analyze of the GATT Secretariat development

The article is devoted to the history of development of the GATT' Secretariat from the time of the Internal Commission of the International Trade Organization till the foundation of the World Trade Organization. Over a period of five decades the GATT's Secretariat was one of a GATT's principal body and had made a contribution to the institutionalization of international trading system. The issues of internal structure and functions of GATT Secretariat are also analyzed.
