K.D. Kavelin: Russian Liberal Household Mentality and Household Life of XIX Century

This article is dedicated to the household life of K.D. Kavelin, one of greatest Russian liberalism theorists. Like most of representatives of noble intelligentsia possessed his own estate. This theme is going not only to enrich our notion of liberals but also to show the influence of their ideas on their everyday life (thus showing all the sincerity of liberals, correspondence of words and deeds). Secondly, the analysis of the problem helps to define the meaning, the motivation, the peculiarities end the results of liberals' business and charity, characterize how they treated the reality of Russian life, that in its turn favored the evolution of their ideals.
