Modern approaches to the choice of MSW landfil sites' placement

The stages of analysis that land plots go through before they become a landfill for MSW are relevant for modern times. This is due to the fact that most of the analysis is carried out using computer technology, namely programming and GIS. So, the first stage includes GIS technologies that allow you to weed out several categories of land that do not meet the requirements at once. After that, at the stage of multivariate analysis, it is possible to additionally weed out some part of the land plots. Polygons retain a leading place among all the problems not only of megacities, but also of provincial cities. About 90% of all waste in Russia ends up in landfills, which, in turn, kill soil microflora, poison groundwater and near living population.
