ОСОБЕННОСТИ ПЕРЕВОДА НАЗВАНИЙ ПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЙ ШЕКСПИРА НА РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК

Цель статьи – выявить особенности и стратегии перевода названий произведений Уильяма Шекспира на русский язык. В работе анализируются различные подходы к переводу названий и приводятся примеры наиболее удачных и неудачных переводов. Особое внимание уделяется сохранению авторского замысла и тонкостям языка, которые могут быть утеряны при переводе. Изучены особенности названий произведений Уильяма Шекспира различных жанров.

THE FEATURES OF THE TRANSLATION OF THE TITLES OF SHAKESPEARE'S WORKS INTO RUSSIAN

The purpose of this article is to identify the features and strategies of translating the titles of William Shakespeare's works into Russian. The paper analyzes various approaches to the translation of names and gives examples of the most successful and unsuccessful translations. Special attention is paid to the preservation of the author's idea and the subtleties of the language that may be lost during translation. The features of the names of William Shakespeare's works of various genres are studied.
