Synthesis, properties, and structure of DyMoO4

A method for obtaining DyMoO4 through the intermediate Dy 2MoO6 molybdate is proposed. The thermal stabilities of the DyMoO4 and dysprosium oxochloromolybdate DyMoO4Cl in air have been studied. The individuality and purity of the compounds obtained are demonstrated by X-ray diffraction, crystal-optical and chemical analyses, and IR spectroscopy.
