ОСНОВНЫЕ ЭТАПЫ ФОРМИРОВАНИЯ СМИ ИРАКА

Статья посвящена анализу исторических условий возникновения предпосылок для формирования журналистики Ирака, а также рассмотрению основных этапов формирования современной системы СМИ Ирака. Авторы исследуют исторический отрезок времени от Османского периода до вторжения США 2003 г. Авторы приходят к выводу о сложных исторических, военно-политических и социальных условиях последнего десятилетия ХХ в., сдерживающих развитие иракских СМИ.

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the main conditions for the emergence of prerequisites for the formation of journalism in Iraq, as well as the consideration of the main time lapses of formation of the modern media system in Iraq. The authors consider the historical period from the Ottoman era to the US invasion of 2003. The authors come to the conclusion that complex historical, military-political and social conditions of the last decade of the 20th century, hindered the development of the Iraqi media.
