The COVID-19 outbreak began at the end of December 2019 and has engulfed the entire world. The authorities are becoming increasingly concerned about the country's vulnerability to the virus's mutation and its rapid spread. With the need for a quick response to the virus, scientists from all over the world have taken up the development of a vaccine against covid-19. However, before release, the vaccine must be tested for side effects, and clinical trials conducted in multiple phases. This article reviewed reviews and studies of the COVID-19 vaccine and its side and positive effects. Scopus was searched from September 2021 to January 2022. A total of 425 articles were identified, 34 articles were selected based on predefined eligibility criteria and included in this review. Due to the rapid growth of whitewash vaccines, a large number of vaccines have been developed, but there is no single approved vaccine worldwide. Each vaccine is described and presented as a cure for the virus, but side effects that can lead to death or life-long disability are also described. To fully understand the impact of the COVID-19 vaccine on human immunity, a review of existing articles on the topic was conducted. The results of this review can be interesting for the professionals dealing with the problem of COVID-19.
