Privacy of personal data is one of the hottest topics today. Huge amounts of data become the prey of cybercriminals every day. Many researchers from all over the world are finding new methods to save our data in different areas. For a more detailed description of the privacy problem and methods for solving it, I perform a scoping literature review. 1330 articles on this topic have been researched from the Scopus database and selected 30 articles for final analysis. It identifies 3 main thematic areas: Medicine and Public Health, Online Privacy and Geo confidence. The areas of Medicine and Public Health, Online Privacy were the most researched in the topic of personal data privacy. At the same time, the area of Geo privacy is less studied. Based on the information studied, I concluded that the topic is really in demand, especially in the field of healthcare and the Internet. Further research on the chosen topic will help people to protect their personal data and avoid many problems associated with their disclosure. The results of this review may be interesting for specialists in the sphere of information security.
