STYLISTIC FEATURES OF SARCASTIC COMMENTS IN THE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE INTERNET DISCOURSE

The purpose of this study is to reveal the features and ways of displaying stylistic features of sarcastic comments in English-language Internet discourse based on the analysis of various sites. The article deals with the concept of discourse and academic discourse, the features of academic discourse in Internet communication are given. In Internet discourse, a comment is a public communication act implemented in writing using speech strategies and tactics. On the basis of the analysis, the peculiarities of the manifestation of sarcastic comments were revealed and the most frequent strategies and tactics are accusations, ironies, insults. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time the peculiarities of the manifestation of sarcastic comments in the English-language Internet discourse were revealed. The obtained results set the vector of teaching Englishlanguage scientific discourse in the educational process of the university. Object: The object of our research is sarcastic comments in the English-language internet discourse. Methods: The methodological base are methods of analysis of scientific literature and semantic-functional analysis of sarcastic comments on the Internet. Findings: The data obtained will help to compare the features of sarcastic comments in the English-language Internet discourse. Conclusions: The result of our research is determined by the increasing role of Internet communication in the life of modern society, which is characterized by a special language that can influence other spheres language functioning.
