Пандемия против глобальных инвестиций: реалии 2020 года

The article shows and analyzes current trends in the global migration process of foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2000-2019 and in the near future. The author highlights the main factors influencing FDI migration. Based on the analysis of primary statistical data and modern and classical scientific research, the author substantiates the point of view that in the current conditions of global instability, there is an increase in the influence of non-economic factors that have a growing impact on global FDI flows. In the article, the author shows that COVID-19 will have a significant direct and indirect impact on FDI flows. Among the directions of indirect influence, the aggravation of the problems of the existing global financial system is highlighted.
