The paper focuses on the theoretical issues of innovation in the field of high technology and its resource provision. The authors note the lack of a unified approach both to the definition of innovative activity, and to the understanding of the features of its implementation in high-tech enterprises. The paper emphasizes the dynamism of innovation, the specificity of resource support, the importance of the infrastructure (ecosystem) of innovation. Modern innovative enterprises can be considered, on the one hand, by the subjects of a circulating economy, in which the ideas underlying technological innovation is jointly created and collectively used, and, on the other hand, by the elements of modern innovation infrastructure.
