Surrogacy and notable elements

In this short paper, I will explain what surrogacy entails, what the different variations are and some of the notable issues that arise concerning this practise. I will provide an overview on how Belgium treats this particular concept of contract, how the European Court of Human Rights has judged concerning surrogacy. To tie all this together it will be necessary to compare and talk about the law of different countries. Such as the United States, particular the state of California, Greek law, Law of the United Kingdom and also about the French law. In the end I will conclude and add my own opinion on this subject.
