Перспективы развития цифровой экономики в странах Латинской Америки

В статье показано, что регион Латинской Америки обладает большим потенциалом для цифрового роста, но в настоящий момент он находится в средней полосе мировой цифровизации. Выявлено, что по большинству показателей технологического развития страны Латинской Америки отстают от развитых стран. В работе проведена оценка развития цифровой экономики внутри региона и выявлено, что странами-лидерами являются Чили, Уругвай, Коста-Рика и Аргентина, а отстающими - Гондурас, Венесуэла, Перу. Дальнейшие перспективы развития цифровой экономики связаны с использованием новых технологий, таких как блокчейн, «Интернет вещей», робототехники, искусственного интеллекта и анализа больших данных. В работе проведен анализ внедрения этих технологий в странах Латинской Америки, который показал, что они пока недостаточно активно внедряют эти технологии. Наибольшие сдвиги наблюдаются в сфере использования блокчейна на финансовых рынках. Данная работа представляет интерес для исследователей в области цифровой экономики, а также изучающих экономику и инновационное развитие стран Латинской Америки.

It is shown that the Latin American region has a great potential for digital growth, but at the moment it is in the middle zone of global digitalization. It is revealed that Latin American countries lag behind developed countries in most indicators of technological development. The authors of the article evaluate the development of the digital economy within the region. It is revealed that the leading countries areas follows: Chile, Uruguay, Costa Rica and Argentina, while the countries lagging behind are Honduras, Venezuela, and Peru. Further prospects for the development of the digital economy are associated with new technologies, such as blockchain, the Internet of things, robotics, artificial intelligence and Big Data analysis. The implementation of these technologies in Latin American countries was analyzed. The analysis showed that Latin American countries are not yet actively implementing these technologies. It is shown that the greatest shifts are observed in the blockchain application in financial markets. This article is of interest to researchers in the field of digital economy, as well as to those studying the economy and innovative development of Latin American countries.
