In today's world, the fashion industry is damaging the environment tremendously. Largely it relates to the implementation of the concept of «fast fashion» The international community is now getting more aware of the negative impact of the huge industry on the environment. This article explores a gradual transition of the «fast fashion» towards sustainable development. The author systematizes strategies and opportunities, which can be applied in practice of sustainable development.
