This article reviews advances of interest to multicultural educators and researchers in the complementary disciplines of multicultural education. Human migration is very urgent today. Migration processes transformed Russia into the center of the connection between different cultures. We illustrated the multicultural peculiarities though the notion of "social continuum" versus of certain cultures. This continuum is presented by a matrix, where the cultures coexist and intercross. Global changes occur in Russian system of education due to the inflow of international students. We put particular emphasis on hermeneutic method and consider it as valid in multicultural education. This learning technology gives remarkable results in adaptation process of international students under new conditions for them. Authors investigate cooperation of humanitarian subjects as a reflection of present reality. Hermeneutic method gives opportunity to discover different visions in certainty, culture and text. We further consider that there are ways where teachers may help students to adapt through psychophysical, educational, informative and sociocultural support. We argue that multicultural education recognizes, accepts, appreciates and develops a variety of pluralistic societies. It is opened to educational needs of minorities. In our work we also focus on issues of social adaptation in educational environment: psychophysical, learning-cognitional, linguistic, communicative and sociocultural. Our hope is progressive adaptation to educational space of university contributes to the adaptation of human behavior in general.
