Аnnotation: In the context of the pandemic, the physical activity of students has significantly decreased. Along with the various factors affecting the human body during the period of self-isolation the forced mode of life of the student and as a result the practical absence of movement during this period revealed that the indicators for assessing the functional state of the subjects had changes during the distance learning period. Based on the results of the study of the functional status in different periods of the year it should be noted that a longer time of breath retention is typical for students in the autumn period, which indicates their higher resistance to hypoxia and hypercapnia during full-time training. The highest indicators of strength endurance of the shoulder girdle muscles were registered among female students in the autumn period. The same trend is observed when conducting a test to determine the strength endurance of the abdominal muscles. Thus, to preserve and prevent the health of students, it is recommended to alternate mental and physical loads.
