A History of Regional Integration in East Africa: The Case of the East African Communityy

This article by exploring different definitions of the term integration analyse the history of regional integration in East Africa prior to colonisation to date. It concludes that regional integration in East Africa has been part of the norm and culture of Africa and that East African community is one of the oldest regional organisation globally.
