АНАЛИЗ "АКАДЕМИЧЕСКОГО ТЕРМИНА" НА БАЗЕ СТРУКТУР ОБЩЕЖИТИЙ США И РОССИИ

Процесс глобализации и вступление Российской Федерации в Болонский процесс в значительной мере влияют на академическую терминологию. Данные ситуации объясняют активное проникновение большинства терминов одной терминосистемы в другую, а именно из английского языка в русский и наоборот В связи с возрастающим интересом к проблемам терминоведения в ходе процесса интернационализации структуры высшего образования и развития терминосистем в образовательной сфере было проведено небольшое исследование на базе вокабуляра, активно использующегося в общежитиях университетов США и России. Основные и актуальные термины были собраны из текстовых, мультимедийных и справочных материалов о структуре кампусов и общежитий с онлайн-источников как сайты и форумы, которые были официально представлены американскими и российскими вузами. Данные термины были объяснены и переведены с русского на английский язык и наоборот.

It is known that the terminology of higher education is continuously developing under conditions of globalization and Russian entrance into Bologna process. As a result, many terms of one term system get into another one, from English into Russian and vice versa. The research has been made due to the growing interest to the problems of terminology studies by way of internationalizing the structure of high education and the developing of the term systems in many spheres and especially in the educational area. The article explains the term “semantization” and does comparative analysis of selected terms according to the three levels of “semantization” in order to determine their similarities and differences when translating into a second language and vice versa. The work has been conducted on the base of active vocabulary which is widely used in the dormitories of American and Russian universities. The majority of the terms have been collected from different online resources (websites and forums) which are officially used by and connected to the universities in the USA and Russia. These terms have been selected, defined, explained and translated from Russian into English and from English into Russian.
