History of the formation and development of Prosecutor’s Office in the United Kingdom

The article discusses the history of the creation and development of the Service of the Royal Prosecutors of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The authors study changes in the procedure for prosecutorial supervision in the British prosecutor's office throughout its history. The article discusses the organization and activities of prosecutorial oversight in the UK. The authors analyse the functions of the institution of the prosecutor's office in the state, identify the stages of activity and examine the problematic aspects of the prosecutor's office. As a result of the analysis, the conceptual historical features of the UK prosecutor's office are determined.

В статье рассматривается история создания и развития Службы Королевских прокуроров Соединенного королевства Великобритания. Авторами изучаются изменения в процедуре прокурорского надзора в британской прокуратуре на протяжении ее истории. В статье рассматриваются вопросы организации и деятельности прокурорского надзора в Великобритании. Авторами анализируется функции института прокуратуры в государстве, выделяются этапы деятельности и исследуются проблемные аспекты работы прокуратуры. В результате проведенного анализа определены концептуальные исторические особенности прокуратуры Великобритании.
