The work is aimed at studying neologisms in the English economic discourse, compiling their thematic classification and identifying productive ways of their formation in the English economic discourse. To achieve this goal, relevant economic neologisms in the English language were considered. The selected lexical units were classified according to the thematic principle, as a result of which several lexical-thematic groups were identified, such as: new conditions of the economy and marketing; neologisms denoting crisis phenomena in the economy, etc.
