Marginal loss probabilities at phases for multiphase queue with common for phases servers in discrete time

A multiphase (tandem) queueing system (QS) with a set of common servers distributed between phases is proposed and investigated. The QS is considered in discrete time with buffer storage (BS) of finite and infinite capacity in phases. This QS can be used, in particular, as a model for the interaction of the base and relay stations in the cell of a heterogeneous mobile network for the purpose of analyzing the various distribution schemes of resource blocks between them. © 2018 IEEE.
