The article raises the problem of the formation of the conflictological competence of the future teacher of higher education, which is necessary in professional pedagogical activity at school. The purpose of the article is to study modern conflictological situation in Russian society, which requires the widespread introduction of new technologies for the management of conflicts in the educational process and re-thinking of the teacher's role as a mediator to optimize the relationship process among students. The pedagogical possibilities of mediation for solving pedagogical problems in an educational organization are justified. The study of methods of dealing with conflicts helps to find effectiveness of a method of mediation. The theoretical and conceptual foundations of the use of mediation in the format of mediation in the educational process of the school are disclosed. The content of the stages of experimental work on the formation of students' readiness to resolve interpersonal conflicts in the pedagogical process is presented.
