The role of non-binding norms in international space law

The most effective solution regulating the peaceful use of outer space in recent decades is instruments that are not legally binding for states, but states, guided by the goal of sustainable development, follow the provisions of such documents. Such documents, including the UNGA resolutions, as mentioned earlier, are not legally binding and are interpreted by some contemporary scholars as "soft law". Soft law can be a rule, it is a non-legally binding but vital, helping you to make a difference. The emergence of key issues in the area of space activities has forced the international community to pursue regulatory measures to address them. © 2020, Univelt Inc. All rights reserved.
