Сегодня наблюдается активное развитие информационных технологий. Это дает возможность поменять акцент в решении социальных и политических проблем с методов военного противостояния на противостояние информационное. Такое противостояние еще называют информационной войной. В настоящее время страны Запада во главе с США оказывают активное информационное влияние на Россию, пытаясь сформировать ее негативный имидж на международной арене. Это вызвано желанием США сохранить свои лидирующие позиции в мире. В статье рассмотрены примеры информационного противостояния между странами Запада и РФ.

Today, there is an active development of information technology. This makes it possible to change the focus in solving social and political problems from the methods of military confrontation to informational confrontation. Such confrontation also called the information warfare. Currently, Western countries led by the United States have an active informational influence on Russia, trying to form its negative image in the international arena. This is due to the desire of the United States to maintain its leading position in the world. The article discusses examples of information confrontation between the countries of the West and the Russian Federation.
