The analysis of human rights discourse holds significance in understanding its impact on the society, legal language and legal genres development and functioning. The studies of human rights discourse represents an interdisciplinary and cross cultural research, relying on such disciplines as linguistics, sociolinguistics, anthropology etc. Different approaches to genre analysis and discourse analysis have been devised to reveal specific features and functions of human right language in different genres and contexts.
