ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ ИНСТРУМЕНТОВ EXCEL ДЛЯ ОЦЕНИВАНИЯ РАСПРЕДЕЛЕНИЯ И ПЛОТНОСТИ ВРЕМЕНИ ТЕСТИРОВАНИЯ В СРЕДЕ MOODLE

В работе рассмотрена технология совместного использования встроенных инструментов LMS MOODLE и табличного процессора EXCEL для построения параметрических и непараметрических оценок плотности и распределения времени прохождения студентами медицинских направлений тестов по латинскому языку. Сравнение параметрических и непараметрических оценок плотности показало, что при общем удовлетворительном совпадении внешнего вида кривых, графики непараметрической оценки плотности имеют явно выраженное крыло, вытянутое вправо в сторону более высоких длительностей теста. Такой факт объясняется наличием в группах иностранных студентов, испытывающих затруднения с русским языком, на котором проводится тестирование, и старающихся максимально использовать время теста для проверки своих ответов. Планируется исследовать иные, отличные от нормального, распределения для более точного аналитического описания поведения исследуемого параметра.

THE DISTRIBUTION AND DENSITY ESTIMATIONS OF THE LATIN LANGUAGE TESTING TIME: THE LMS MOODLE AND THE EXCEL SPREADSHEET TOOLS JOINT USE

The paper deals with the end-to-end technology of sharing LMS MOODLE and Excel spreadsheet tools to build parametric and non-parametric estimations of density and distribution of medical students testing time in the Latin language. The technology is designed to automate test data processing with elements of Big Data techniques in order to improve the methods of control of the educational process. Testing is carried out in the LMS MOODLE environment, where the moments of the beginning and end of the test are automatically fixed. The data is exported to EXCEL. Using the programs of the STATISTICS package, the estimates of expectation, variance, coefficient of asymmetry, excess and other statistics are calculated. The data obtained do not contradict the assumption of the normality of the distributions. Comparison of the two types of estimates showed the common satisfactory coincidence of the appearance of the curves. But it was noticed, that the density graphs have a pronounced wing stretched to the right in the direction of higher test durations. This is due to the presence of foreign students in groups. The last have certain difficulties with the Russian language in which the test is conducted, and usually they are trying to use most of the test duration to check their answers. In future it is planned to study other, different from normal, distributions for a more accurate analytical description of the behavior of the parameter under study.
