Cause and effect analysis of failures at Russian nuclear power plants between years 1992 and 2018

Multiple systems determine safe operation of every nuclear power plant. Elements of these system may periodically fail due to some reasons. This article contains annual failure statistics analysis of Russian nuclear power plants between years 1992 and 2018. It was also assessed the effectiveness of nuclear power plant safety improvement measures, aimed on failure elimination. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
