DYNAMICS OF GLACIAL LAKES OF THE ALA-ARCHA RIVER BASIN (KYRGYZSTAN)

In the last few decades, according to the results of instrumental observations, there has been a noticeable reduction in the area of the TienShan mountain glaciation. The reduction of glaciers affects the state of the preglacial lakes. The article is devoted to the analysis of information received by the participants of the Kyrgyz integrated hydrogeological expedition. The bathymetric measurements for some of the large preglacial lakes in the AlaArcha valley make it possible to characterize the features of their formation and the dynamics of this process.
