Akresol: A new polymer quenchant

The cooling capacity of aqueous solutions of polymer compositions based on polycarboxylic acids and copolymers of N-vinyl amides is studied. Tests of a new quenchant based on interpolymer complexes of anion-active components are performed and the process possibilities and the reproducibility of properties of different batches of this quenchant are estimated. © 2008 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
