An ethnocultural artifact of the Turkic-speaking peoples of the North Caucasus and Central Asia - kiyiz

The article is devoted to kiyiz, an important ethnocultural artifact of the decorative and applied and Nogai languages, which represent the color, of making kiyiz, as well as the symbolic meanings of the ornaments, the main elements of which are based, and geometric motifs that contain ethnocultural information. The methodological basis of the work is the understanding of language, ethnicity, and culture as an inextricably linked triad, due to the fact that despite living in different geographical areas, the Turkic ethnic groups have preserved such an important artifact as the kiyiz, which embodies the stable distinctive features and artistic traditions of their shared ancient culture.
