Challenges in bioinformatics education courses organization

We review current trends of courses and young scientists’ schools on bioinformatics discussed at the Congress of Russian Biophysicists and the recent Russian Autumn School in Biophysics held in Kazan, Russia, 2024, highlighting general problems in educational courses organization. We discuss the history of bioinformatics educational courses and meetings and current trends in bioinformatics education at regional and international levels. The distant education forms in bioinformatics courses and the approaches development active learning.
