Preface: Nonlinear dynamics and control of engineering systems and aerospace applications

This special issue contains 21(twenty-one) papers selected, after peer review, among the best papers presented in the event XLV Ibero-Latin American Congress on Computational Methods in Engineering (CILAMCE 2024), which was held in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, from 11 to 14 November 2024., and some more invited and selected papers.The aim of this Special Issue is to collate original research articles that focus on the recent theoretical, computational, and experimental results in the field of nonlinear dynamics, focusing on different engineering applications and in the aerospace area.
