Vector Fields with Non-Isolated Singular Points Viewed from the Inside and Outside

We present a brief survey of recent results about vector fields with non-isolated singular points and their applications. One of the most interesting and promising application is connected with quasi-linear differential equations of the second order, including the equation of geodesics in signature varying (pseudo-Riemannian) metrics. © 2025 ASSA.
