The reviewed book is the result of a study by the Iranian historian Seyed Ali Murjani, who described the reign of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and the establishment of the Saudis' power in Nejd and Hijaz based on Ottoman archival documents. The book carries a significant charge of scientific novelty, like any research based on unpublished archival documents. In addition, the book is interesting for the Russian scientific community from a historiographical point of view, since its author is a representative of the Iranian scientific school. © 2022 Ltd "Integration: Education and Science".
