ОСНОВНЫЕ АСПЕКТЫ ФУНКЦИОНИРОВАНИЯ КОНЦЕПТА "ARTERY" ПРИ ПЕРЕВОДЕ МЕДИЦИНСКИХ СТАТЕЙ

В данной работе мы рассматриваем такое языковое явление, как «концепт». Тема выбрана неслучайно, т.к. на занятиях по спецкурсу «Основы перевода» на английском языке, проводимых на кафедре русского языка медицинского института РУДН, у будущих переводчиков возникают трудности при переводе концептов из-за неумения соотносить социокультурные «образы» родной культуры с «образами» культуры изучаемого языка. Познание учащимися культуры других стран осуществляется в процессе восприятия чужой национально-специфической картины мира. В статье на примере обращения к концептам «артерия»/«artery» демонстрируется, как на практике обучения переводу медицинских профессиональных текстов могут выглядеть шаги одновременного обучения языку и культуре через систему концептов. С целью обобщения имеющихся знаний нами была проанализирована специализированная литература по данному вопросу, подробно рассмотрены особенности перевода концептов. Собственный опыт работы авторов статьи, преподающих теорию и практику перевода на кафедре русского языка медицинского института РУДН, показывает, что более активное применение концептов на занятиях вызывает больший интерес к русскому языку и культуре России среди иностранных студентов различных медицинских специальностей из разных стран, а также способствует успешному межкультурному общению в области медицины между специалистами различных лингвокультур. Собранный материал может быть использован для создания учебника или написания других статей по переводу концептов, а также при написании методических разработок по обмену образовательным опытом.

In this work, we consider such a linguistic phenomenon as «concept». The topic was not chosen by chance, because during English classes on the special course «Fundamentals of Translation», held at the Russian Language Department of the RUDN Medical Institute, future translators have difficulties translating concepts due to the inability to correlate the socio-cultural «images» of their native culture with the «images» of the culture of the language being studied. Students' cognition of the culture of other countries is carried out in the process of perceiving someone else's national-specific picture of the world. Using the example of referring to the concepts «artery» / «arteriya», the article demonstrates how in practice of teaching the translation of medical professional texts, the steps of simultaneous teaching of language and culture through a system of concepts can look like. In order to summarize the available knowledge, we analyzed the specialized literature on this issue, examined in detail the features of the translation of concepts. The personal experience of the authors of the article, who teach the theory and practice of translation at the Russian language department of the RUDN Medical Institute, shows that the more active use of concepts in the classroom arouses greater interest in the Russian language and culture of Russia among foreign students of various medical specialties from different countries, and also contributes to successful intercultural communication in the field of medicine between specialists of different linguistic cultures. The collected material can be used to create a textbook or write other articles on the translation of concepts, as well as when writing methodological developments for the exchange of educational experience.
