The article deals with an algorithm of projecting of orientation basis of actions of monologue's composition at the English lessons based on activity approach principles in learning. The general approaches to the educational process organization are determined and pointed out within the framework of the algorithm described. The authors of the article define the action's position in future professional activity of the students. The requirements for monologue (descriptors) are pointed out in the article, their meta-subject potential is demonstrated. The necessity of meta-subject component developing in connection with developing speaking skills in the form of monologue in activity approach principles is highlighted in the article. Taking into consideration the requirements described the authors formulate the orientation basis of actions of monologue's composition. Module programme aimed at monologue's composition is suggested in the article. The main principals of its realization are mental actions of the students as the subjects of learning activities.First year students of the English Department were invited to test the programme. The research work lasted for a series of lessons and revealed a number of benefits of the algorithm under consideration as well as drawbacks. Among the benefits the authors highlight the fact of precise understanding by the students the essence of a planned result's image - a monologue, consequently its qualitative requirements. However the students faced some difficulties in finding out scientific reasoning while working out the planned result's image. Proceedings in psycholinguistics were suggested to deal with the difficulties. The research method of educational experiment allowed to prove the sufficiency of the algorithm of projecting of orientation basis of actions of monologue's composition and its meta-subject potential.
