The political crisis developed against the background of European integration has led to change of the power that has turned out to be consequence of the territorial and state split: the population of the southeast of the country didn't recognize an anticonstitutional coup and supported federalization of Ukraine, the western and central regions supported the opposition which has come to the power, however also demanded regional expansion of powers. The happened replacement of the leadership of Ukraine didn't promote settlement of a political crisis, and on the contrary, has led to his aggravation. The newly elected President P. Poroshenko has begun process of introduction of amendments to the Constitution for the purpose of administrative decentralization of Ukraine. Thereby before the government there was a question of territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state.
