Представлены результаты компьютерного анализа нуклеотидных последовательностей ретровируса типа D, хронически инфицирующего линию клеток рака гортани человека.
The results of the bioinformatics analysis of the sequences of the retrovirus type D chronically infected human pharynx carcinoma cells have confirmed its similarity to monkey virus SRV-1. The nucleotide sequences of integrated provirus has been characterized and compared with SRV-1 virus genome. We have detected a couple non-significant single-nucleotide substitutions in the genome of this virus integrated in human DNA. These substitutions do not change the amino acid sequence in translated protein or slightly change it without prevention of the functional activities. The variability of the retrovirus DNA integrated in human genome is studied and possible mechanism of integration of retroviral DNA in non-permissive host genome is suggested.
