Most countries have experienced significant changes during the last two decades attributed to In formation and Communications Technologies (ICT). Developing countries in Sub -Saharan Africa, have been in volved in this ICT revolution; many new operators were seen as appearing on the African telecommunication market, through the use of mobile phones and providing various services. The main objective of this study is to highlight the effects of telecommunications infrastructure, particularly the mobile phone telecommunication im plementation on economic development and growth and using this knowledge to stimulate development as well as highlight the challenges that may be encountered in attempts to improve this sector. A causal relationship is measured between mobile phone technology and socioeconomic development in Sub-Saharan Africa dynamic panel dataset using primary and secondary data from the observations of countries from 1990 to 2016.
