Diagnostic criteria of craniovertebral pathology in miniature dog breeds

The work presents clarification of some pathological changes and development of diagnostic techniques for craniovertebral anomalies, as well as creation of an algorithm for identification of physiological norm and pathology of craniovertebral area in miniature dog breeds. As a result an algorithm for evaluation of the extent of pathology in craniovertebral area based on cranio- and encephalometric method was developed. Indices of relevant values are provided, which allows unifying data from radiography and tomography, and carrying out precise diagnostics in spite of substantial differences in anatomical structure of cranium in different dog breeds.
