The contribution of professor I. Blishchenko to the development of the domestic science of international law

This article is dedicated to professor I. P. Blishenko, who was known as a prominent scholar in the sphere of international law both in our country and abroad. He made a great contribution to the development of the concept of the relationship of international and domestic law; of the relationship of international public law and international private law; of international humanitarian law; to the study of the role of the international legal peaceful means in resolution of intergovermental disputes; of the problem of terrorism as an international crime. LP. Blishenko created its scientific school, which now continues to be developed within the framework of the Department of international law of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. He created a periodical print on international law - "The International Law", which is published regularly and it is the sole domestic periodical on international law, published in two languages: Russian and English. The author highly praises the heritage of this scholar.
