Mounting evidence implies beneficial properties of macrolides, statins and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE)-inhibitors beyond those of their original indications in the treatment of chronic diseases. It is time to discard the view that risk factors need to be measured and treated individually if found to be «abnormal». Instead it should be recognised that in Western society the risk factors are high in us all, so everyone is at risk, that the diseases they cause are common and often fatal; and that there is much to gain and little to lose by the widespread use of these drugs. In the article the experimental analysis and idealized substantiation of the concept of an inflammatory genesis of metabolic disturbance basing a chronic noninfective pathology is given. Is shown, that both in conditions of a local subclinical inflammation, and in conditions of system inflammatory reacting there is a development of the «standard» forms shapes of the unbalance of exchange of lipoproteins, glucose and insulin, appearance modified atherogenous lipoproteins and glycosilative proteins. In this study, we demonstrated for the first time that a statin, an ACE-inhibitor and macrolides all suppress inflammation factor up-regulation in monocyte-PMN cell, thus adding new information regarding the cellular effects of these drugs that may be of importance in the treatment of inflammation.
