В настоящей статье рассматриваются философские основы конституционного закрепления свободы прессы и эволюция положений о свободе слова и прессы в российских конституционных актах 1917-1993 годов.
This article examines the main legal philosophical foundation for protecting freedoms of speech and press constitutionally, and presents a brief history of the development of provisions in Russian constitutions regulating these liberties, starting with the Bolsheviks' Decree On Press, 1917, and ending with the current Constitution. The final part of this article focuses on the 1993 Constitution which strongly protects fundamental freedoms of speech and press in accordance with international and European human rights standards.
