The main points of the article comprise the following statements: 1) classification of games should give the opportunity not only to analyse theoretically a particular phenomenon, but to reproduce each and every of its types technologically; 2) systematization and analysis of a game should be fulfilled on the basis of a strict methodological analysis; 3) the choice of parameters for the characteristic traits common for all the games; 4) technological aspect of the game makes it unique, the methodological basis allows to recognize the characteristic peculiarities of this type of the game; 5) the mechanism of classification of the game as social technology is based on the principal characteristics, reflecting the essence of the game as a social phenomenon, also it takes into account specific peculiarities that define these games into a special group.
