NaCl crystals were deformed by compression at strain-rates from 10-5 to 10-3 s-1 in a magnetic field 0 - 0,48 T. The stress-strain curves have shown the reducing of the yield point and the total level of the curves as a result of the magnetic field action. The magnetoplastic effect was found to be of the threshold character with two threshold Bc values, the first value corresponding to the origination of the plastifying effect, the second one - to its disappearance.
