ЭВОЛЮЦИЯ И ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ МАШИННОГО ПЕРЕВОДА В ЖУРНАЛИСТИКЕ: КРИТИЧЕСКАЯ ОЦЕНКА И БУДУЩЕЕ

Машинные переводы с использованием онлайн-инструментов становятся всё более популярными в современном мире. Несмотря на внушительный накопленный опыт до сих пор продолжаются дискуссии относительного того, сможет ли машинный перевод заменить человеческий, каковы перспективы его развития и есть ли у него будущее. Системы машинного перевода автоматически переводят текст с исходного языка на целевой язык без вмешательства человека. Принимая во внимание тенденции развития, автор статьи на данном этапе своего исследования даёт критическую оценку динамике развития систем машинного перевода и выделяет перспективные области, которые могут успешно применять технологию машинного перевода, а также делает попытку систематизировать преимущества и недостатки. Стоит отметить, что не все инструменты машинного перевода дают одинаковый результат, между ними также существуют разные стратегии перевода, как и в случае с переводчиками-людьми. Каждая стратегия создает разные решения для перевода в зависимости от стиля текста. Решающим фактором здесь является, прежде всего, тип исходного текста. Установлено, что специально обученные инструменты машинного перевода быстро и качественно обрабатывают большие объемы текста. Можно утверждать, что машинный перевод следует рассматривать и использовать только как инструмент, который может быть полезен переводчику как вспомогательный. Несмотря на то что полная замена человеческого перевода машинным переводом на данном этапе развития не представляется возможной, накопленный опыт позволяет создавать высокоэффективные алгоритмы, становящиеся основой инновационных подходов в машинном переводе. На наш взгляд, развитие области машинного перевода обещает создание более совершенных систем с новыми областями их применения.

Bstract. Machine translations using online tools are becoming increasingly popular in the modern world. Despite the impressive accumulated experience, discussions are still ongoing about whether machine translation can replace human translation, what the prospects for its development are and whether it has a future. Machine translation systems automatically translate text from the source language to the target language without human intervention. Taking into account the development trends, the author of the article at this stage of research gives a critical assessment of the dynamics of the development of machine translation systems and identifies promising areas that can successfully apply machine translation technology, as well as attempts to systematize the advantages and disadvantages. It is worth noting that not all machine translation tools produce the same result, there are also different translation strategies between them, as in the case of human translators. Each strategy creates different translation solutions depending on the style of the text. The decisive factor here is, first of all, the type of source text. It has been established that specially trained machine translation tools process large volumes of text quickly and efficiently. It can be argued that machine translation should be considered and used only as a tool that can be useful to the translator as an auxiliary one. Despite the fact that it is not possible to completely replace human translation with machine translation at this stage of development, the accumulated experience allows us to create highly efficient algorithms that become the basis of innovative approaches in machine translation. In our opinion, the development of the field of machine translation promises the creation of more advanced systems with new areas of their application.
