Background. The effects of the pandemic are still being studied by scientists in terms of their impact on the business, cultural and social aspects of society. Far from diminishing, the number of studies varies depending on the interests of the foreseeable impact in a country, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, which was one of the first to be affected by the pandemic. More than thirty thousand articles on COVID-19 on various topics, including changes in aspects of life in China, Japan and South Korea have been written within the past three years. Purpose. To study how COVID-19 has affected the lives of the population in the short and long term (socio-economic, behavioral and personal aspects of life) of citizens of China, Japan and South Korea. Materials and Methods. The subject area review was carried out in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The search was carried out in the Scopus database. Results. As a result of the primary search 138 articles were calibrated, 42 studies were selected as relevant and analyzed. Based on the selected articles, the following trends were identified: (1) the state of the labor market; (2) changes associated with learning; (3) changing needs, demand, preferences and opportunities of citizens; (4) changes in the personal capabilities of citizens; (5) changing population mobility; (6) changing the social interaction of people. Conclusion. The researchers came to the conclusion that the coronavirus pandemic has had both positive and negative impacts on society as a whole. The results of this study can be used by policymakers, health professionals, scientists, and other stakeholders to develop effective strategies to combat future pandemics.
