Lebanon and the EU: the Multibilateral Format of Relation in Contemporary World

The article examines the issue of the relationship between Leba- non and the European Union on the background of modern inter- national relations. The main attention of this article is given to the nature of the external and internal tension, which made Lebanon a 'weak link' in the Middle East. The article traces the policy of Europe in general and France in particular. The special analyses in it devoted to the nature of the obstacles that still stands in front of ability to formulate a unified policy in the EU. The same thing is to do with the nature of the internal Lebanese conflict, which hinders the unity of the Lebanese political decision.
