The article examines the involvement of the Greater Middle East countries in the process of transformation of the regional order and the emerging new balance of power. It is shown that the geopolitical and cultural-civilizational identity of the leading states in the region (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey), along with an external factor, have a decisive influence on the process of transformation of regional international relations.
